Stewardess Board

 

The main functions of the stewardess are to assist the stewards in the discharge of their duties relative to the ritual of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

 

1. To provide and implement the elements for the Holy Communion to the entire church every first Sunday of the month.

 

2. To dress the pulpit and altar with suitable, clean colored coverings for the various seasons of the Christian year, funerals and for memorials.

 

3. To provide assistance with funerals by helping the families in need as well as handling the flowers at the end the funeral service. Also, assist with other events deemed important by the pastor and the A.M.E. Church.

 

4. Support the other ministries in visiting the sick and shut-In.
